This was because of a bug that limited the maximum number of members to 255, but it's fixed now.
Why don't your animations play?
You need the div-x codec; it's available on www.divx.com.
I have the Div-X codec, but the image freezes after a few seconds
This is a problem related to my newest animation, as it is encoded with DivX 5.11 Pro. I did recently discover that DivX 5.11 Pro does lack backward compatibility, so I will soon post it encoded with an older version - maybe the classic 3.11a - to keep the compatibility at a decent level.
Why don't you have them as mpeg?
Mpeg-1 is an outdated format; as a rule of thumb, an mpeg movie requires twice the size of a div-x movie to attain the same image quality.
How about Windows Media, QuickTime, RealMedia, Bink etc?
Windows Media is very limited about bit rates, resolutions etc, and most of the valid settings in Windows Media Encoder are poor quality, maybe to satisfy those who tries to stream video with modems? QuickTime and RealVideo require the installation of 10+ megabytes software that in addition abuses the auto start feature of Microsoft Windows for no particularly reason; compare it with less than a single megabyte for the DivX codec. Bink is a great format, used by Blizzard for in game movies in popular games like Diablo II, but the Bink player sucks because standard commands like alt+space for full screen etc doesn't work.
